Battling bagworms, fungus, or other common pests? Here are the products we keep on hand at our homes throughout the summer.
ALWAYS use these products with extreme caution and use exactly as directed on the package label.
Bonide® Captain Jack’s™ Deadbug® Brew
Protect plants as precious as your veggie garden from thrips, spider mites, and beetles the organic way! This product uses a bacteria called Spinosad—a leading pesticide for organic farming. Deadbug® Brew works on non-beneficial pests without significantly affecting beneficial bugs!
Bonide® All Seasons® Horticultural Spray Oil
Another great organic pest control choice that can be safely used on both plants and insects year-round. Instead of harsh chemicals, All Seasons® uses mineral oil, so it won’t leave behind toxic residues. Use this in your ornamental garden, trees, and organic vegetable garden all the way up to the day of harvest.
Bonide® Eight® Insect Control
Are you playing Whack-a-Mole with crabgrass? Ferti-Lome®'s Crabgrass Killer is exactly for that, and another 200+ weeds, including poison ivy, poison oak, and ragweed. Just apply it to the weeds' leaves while they're young and growing, and be sure to wait 3 weeks before seeding.
Bonide® Captain Jack’s™ Copper Fungicide
For an organic-first line of defense against fungus, Captain Jack’s™ Copper Fungicide tops our list. Using a small concentration of copper, copper fungicide gets right to work on dollar spot, black spot, brown patch, and more.
Bonide® Infuse Systemic Disease Control
This broad-spectrum fungicide fights 30 different diseases that appear in lawns and gardens like black spot, dollar spot, and blight. Best used on lawns, Infuse is most effective at the first sign of disease. As an added bonus, it also promotes growth of newly planted cool-season grass.
